Made some hand-cut noodles with my mom! Didn’t get a good photo of the original noodle bowl, but! Made a different version the next day with leftover broth… can’t see the noodles though lol. Broth was gao tang along with just random dried Asian ingredients thrown in an instant pot. It was okay… but for the 2nd day decided to kick it up with a packet of instant noodle mala tang. Canned sardines in tomato sauce hanging out in the air fryer, egg, and plain ol’ blanched cabbage. An adventure was had.

So getting back into the random a little bit. Grabbed everything umami/tangy in the pantry: Tom Yum, Kimchi, Worcestershire, Miso, some kind of Asian pepper paste, leftover tomato sauce, and sambar powder into a marinade for the chicken legs. Couscous and spinach salad with a ginger sesame dressing.
